Police arrested rapper Nelly early Saturday after a woman said he r*ped her on his tour bus in a town outside Seattle, an accusation the Grammy winner's attorney staunchly denied. Nelly, whose real name is Cornell Iral Haynes Jr., was arrested about 4:37 a.m. Saturday in his tour bus at a Walmart, Auburn police spokesman Commander Steve Stocker said. The woman called 911 to report being sexually assaulted by Nelly on the tour bus, police said in a statement. He will have his first appearance before a judge "at some point," Stocker said. Nelly was scheduled to perform in Ridgefield, Washington, on Saturday night. Nelly's attorney, Scott Rosenblum, said Saturday afternoon that the singer was released from jail pending the investigation, and he is expected to be at the Ridgefield show. As for Falz, he heard one of my works, and he reached out to me on Twitter. From there, we hooked up in the studio and did some things together. Soldier was actually my song, and when he heard it, we decided to work together on it,” she said. Speaking on her relationship status, she said, “I always like to keep my personal life away from the public. All I can say is that I am in a relationship but I just don’t want to disclose the person’s name.” On whether

The Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti was on Sunday shut indefinitely following a violent protest by students over the death of two of them. Trouble began on the institution’s campus late Friday when two of the students reportedly complained of malaria. The Registrar of the institution, Mrs. Sade Adediran, announced the immediate and indefinite closure of the school. Adediran did not, however, confirm whether any student actually died at the Polytechnic Health Centre. The statement warned that any student found on campus after the closure would be apprehended and made to face the consequences. It was gathered from campus sources that the students on learning that their colleagues had died, quickly mobilized themselves, marched to the Health Centre and burnt it down. Apart from also destroying some other property, the stud
