MONKEY POX HAS CAUSED SHOP OWNERS TO CLOSE THEIR SHOP AND FLEE FOR THEIR LIVES

The popular Ogbete  main market in Enugu State Nigeria  has today spotted to have witnessed a massive fled of shop owners for the fear of the disease monkey pox.

Many shops were  closed as parents hurry to schools to bring back their children, to avoid being infected.


There is likely to be more cases of market shutdown as a result of monkey pox in Enugu State.

Afghan Defence Minister, Abdullah Habibi and Army Chief of Staff Qadam Shah Shahim stepped down with immediate effect, after more than 140 soldiers were killed last week in the deadliest ever Taliban attack on a military base. Afghan President Ashraf Ghani accepted the resignations of his defense minister and army chief of staff on Monday, the president's office said. The resignations were because of Friday's attack on a major army base in the northern city of Mazar-i-Sharif. Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state has shed light on the discussion that took place between President Muhammadu Buhari,    All Progressives Congress (APC) governors and leaders of the party. In a telephone conversation, Governor Okorocha said the President was very cheerful and has not lost a bit of his sense of humour.   A statement from the senior adviser to the president on media and publicity, Femi Adesina said the governor said the party delegation spent more than an hour with President Buhari during lunch, and it was very clear from the discussions that the president did followed developments at home.   He said the President was delighted to receive the delegation and asked each governor about affairs in his state.   He also asked the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, about the state of the railways.   When asked to react to all the negative things being said about him, the President just laughed, describing such negative reports as lies.   Go
